[ why hello g'raha, Bolormaa has just re-appeared on New Years' Eve. Quietly holding him, her clothes messy. With mostly dust, and a bit of scattered crystal. The same colour as Bolormaa goes when she's injured.

She's shaky, but quiet. Came home before going towards the New Years' Party the Scions-Ironworks are to hold, their massive group. ]

[He's worried seeing that crystal, and that she's been away for a while- but he's more glad that she's here, wrapping his arms around her and nuzzling into her hair.]

You're back! Have you been travelling?

[ She lowers her head a little, gently vibrating in that way she did. Softly whining. ]

...I got caught up in something. [ she sounds... vulnerable. ] You've not left yet?

[He starts purring back, nuzzling her. Trying to reassure her.]

Something…. It must have been pretty big. But you're here for the new year! [a gentle squeeze- it's okay, he's here.] I had a few things to pack up still- and I was hoping to see you.

[ ...He gets a little sniffle out of her. ]

Um-- I'm sorry I took so long. I missed Starlight... [ A soft beat, as she nuzzles back. She feels so guilty! ] I think... before I go to the others, I'd like a bath. So that my family won't worry. Care to join me?

[oh no he purrs a little more.]

There are still some presents for you- we weren't about to unwrap them! [he's still worried, but glad that she's nuzzling back.] Of course! You've been travelling a lot, right? Would you like something to eat, too?

[ Oh-- they got her things? Bolormaa let out another whine. She still had gifts for them - for him. ] Thank you...! And I would - it's, um.

Something bad happened. [ Bolormaa can't lie, but she's moving towards their bath. ]

[Of course they did! She's precious to them, after all.]. You're welcome!

…oh. I thought maybe- but I hoped it hadn't. Do you want to talk about it? [he's going to let go and start moving, though-]. Let me- I can assemble a little platter first.

...I'd like to wash first. [ She nods, though. She can... at least wash her injured arm, splash some water before he got there. ] I'll meet you there.

Of course. [He reaches out, to give her a little kiss.]. I won't be long.

[ When G'raha would enter the room, Bolormaa was already naked, as the water was still running. But... clearly, one of her hands was missing, as she stood over the tub. Not getting in yet, Bolormaa looked... shaky. ]

[Oh- he thought she'd be in. He sets the platter to the side, carefully and reaches out for her.]. Bolormaa? Are you- is there something I can do?

[…her hand. what would've caused that?]

[ She lets him hold her... before she shudders a little, moving finally to get in. ] I-- do you think everybody can be good, Raha?

[He watches carefully, ready to help if it looks as though she needs it.]. …I think if they want to- but I'm not sure everyone does. [Amon… well, that was a mess.]

[ she is so cautious now she's missing her dominate hand, but she manages to get in. it's one of those big bathtubs, so. there's room for g'raha, if he so desires to enter. she wants him to. ]

I met one who did not desire to be kind. One who was curious about my nature as a Manikin - he offered to show me his labs.

[He wants to, too, though he goes to move the platter closer so she can reach it before stepping into the bathtub and settling in.]

In order to learn more? But- it wasn't just that- did he hurt you?

...He got out a knife. I got wary and tried to use a barrier, but-- he cut off my hand. And kept me prisoner.

So that's what happened…. But you're back here now. You got out. [he reaches out.]. Can I hold you? Will- will it be all right? Do we need to get it?

[resetto]

[ a little soft whine. ] It'll be fine. Um, it re-grows - like any part of me. It takes-- time. Just as any of my changes do.

[aneyeonthepast]

All right. [he makes a soft sound, still, wanting to nuzzle into her.]. So- it'll heal, given time? Any- have you tried other changes?

...Um. I have, but it's a little... [ Bolormaa is gonna nuzzle into him, blushing a little. ] It'll heal. But he took it. And he kept me for days.

Private? That's all right. [he smiles, nuzzling back so gently, tail flicking a little.]. I'm glad it'll heal, and I'm glad that you're back. Would you like it if I helped to wash you? [to remind her that there are better people in the world- to feel the touch of someone who loves her.]

I'll show you later. [ She said, as she smiled. ] I-- invited you here to aid me with washing myself. If it's not too much... [ people are good. people are loving. she's loving. ]

Oh? I'll look forward to it, then. [he beams.]. Of course! It's not too much at all- I'd be glad to. [he shifts closer, giving her a little close before he reaches for the soap, gathering a little before he takes her arm and begins washing it.]

[ She gives a little purr, a little lean into his washing. Her arm has lost some of its texture, looking more like crystal. It's freaky, honestly. ] I-- um. That happens when I've not been eating. I apologize you've needed to see this.

[It's very worrying, and he touches it so gently, concerned more might flake away.]. It's all right. It's not your fault- he wasn't treating you as well as you should be.

[his tail twitches. he's not that vicious, but- mm. He nuzzles into her, before beginning to massage her shoulders.]

[ It doesn't flake - but, oh. It feels like pure crystal. Bolormaa sighs a little. ] ...I should have fought back myself.

[ .......has Bolormaa ever attacked a Spoken before? ]

[Strange- a little nice. He traces his fingers over it, a little, before moving to start washing her back.]. But- fighting in that kind of position's different, isn't it?

...It is. It was-- well-- I tried to put up a barrier, as I said. But I felt guilty.

He blamed that for why I lost my hand.

…but he's the one who decided to take it. It's not your fault.

I told him of how Manikin can re-grow.

[he wraps his arms around her, holding her close.]

…will you be safe? Will he come after you?

He has all he'll need to grow more Manikin - I doubt he'll come for me again. [ She headbutts him a little, whining. ] I don't want them to attack...
