stealing more canon characters
[ Tau Weapon, as Nero had called the machine in Amons' labs, was half-aware that somebody was entering. But he was mostly preoccupied on his experiments, hooked into so many machines... machines that were still growing fleshy beasts.
That explained how they kept getting beasts to protect the Tower...
He barely looked up at the Miqo'te entering, mistaking the presence for: ]
Emperor Xande. A welcome surprise - have you come for my most recent report?
[ He spoke fluent Allagan. What else would he speak? But he remained in his large chair, body still clearly disabled, mechanical hands beginning to hover and linger, moving to touch G'raha. To examine him. ]

His ears perk up- a chance to speak and practice Allagan! He glances at the mechanical hands curiously, tail waving.]
Ah- G'raha Tia, actually. Though- I'd like to hear your report, certainly.
no subject
G'raha Tia. You are not in my records.
no subject
I suppose not- I've come to the Tower fairly recently. I- they should be connected to the rest of the Tower, though, shouldn't they?
no subject
[ He admitted. If G'raha looked around to the screens, he'd be able to notice that a lot of them are broken, from the earthquake so long ago... a lot of systems down. ]
Your position, then?
no subject
[Ah… of course. And there's been no one in since to make repairs, of course…]
Ah… well! If I may- you may consider me the steward of the Tower, in this time.
no subject
[ Said rather sharply. But he lets out a soft blip, hands beginning to fuss with him. ]
You are another automation. Are Lord Xande and Lord Amon occupied enough that they require another?
no subject
[He gives a soft beep, some of his attention turning to the hands.]
In… a sense. Lord Xande and Lord Amon have passed from this world, I fear.
no subject
And then: ]
Error. Input not recognized--
--argh. You're giving me a headache.
no subject
My apologies. That was hardly my intention. But- I realised we hadn't spoken yet, and wished to make introductions- and see if there was anything you needed.

Ah… hm. We can probably arrange something… testing, perhaps? [that's, you know. less deadly than a lot of Allagan tests.]
no subject
[ This. This poor bot... ]
no subject
When was the last time you heard from them?
[He's starting to worry.]
no subject
[ This poor bot... ]
no subject
[He holds a hand out to Tau.]
no subject
Why are you lying, G'raha Tia?

The Tower has lasted, even if there have been changes elsewhere. We can still help people.
no subject
[ His voice grows a little quiet. ]
no subject
His ears flick, and he reaches out offering Tau a hand again.]
no subject
[ One of his hands lift, before sparking. ]
This cannot be.

no subject
And... you are the new caretaker? An automation?
no subject
I'm… well, that's a little complicated. But yes. I inherited the blood.
no subject
To think... an automation could inherit Lord Xandes' blood...!!
no subject
Well- as I said, it was a little complicated. I, ah. I wasn't always an automaton.
no subject
But Aulus then grins. ] Impressive! That's possible?!
no subject
His tail waves lightly, ears flicking.] It was! Ah, well, it was a little desperate, I suppose… but it worked. Else I wouldn't be here, after all.
no subject
[ As soon as G'raha touches him, though, he freezes up. Fear in his eyes. ]
no subject
[He stills, looking up at Tau's face. Staying still- for the most part, at least.]
Is it all right? Should I stop?

quite different then most Allagans, G'raha Tia.
no subject
All right. On three… one, two, three! [He reaches, doing his best to put the connections back as cleanly as he can.]
no subject
But it is more of a scream - it feels almost like G'rahas' very soul is being prodded at. Everything goes white...
...and then he is facing another. Who looks so much like Tau, but is made of flesh. Sitting at that chair, taking a slight break from work. Looking exhausted. ]
no subject
This is- Tau? No, he couldn't have become flesh in just that instant- but then what is this?] …Tau?
no subject
Not that the other knew that. ] Who are you-- how did you get in here?
no subject
I- I'm G'raha Tia. And- I"m not quite sure? I was- somewhere like this, just a moment ago…
no subject
[ The other man stands - his legs seem injured but he's fine. ] Those tests were going to be beginning soon...
no subject
[That's curious, but- he seems well enough.]. Oh- might I be able to assist you?
