lighthunter and her commander
[ It wasn't that the Lighthunter had become obsessed, per say, with the ability to fight the Light that stole Garlemald away, or so she claimed. The very Light that threatened to devour her soul, that roared in the loneliness and desires of her former Lord Zenos. The desires that devoured her mind, made her desperate.
And then she had been skewered with her own armour. And treated as if it was wrong... wrong to desire what consumed. Gently, painfully, she limped out - to go to Prastha, to report. ]
Ser. I apologize for the situation with the savage-- our guest. I simply thought--!!
[ Her salute was weak. She missed Garlemald so much... ]

--I've seen it there. It's horrifying. There's barely anything left.

[He'll go back to the drawing board if he needs to, but… ah. He wnats- to make something happen.]

...we would need to bring some supplies, of course. Get one of the old magitek devices repaired up.
I wouldn't let you go alone, Lord Prastha.

[Oh. He gives her a small smile.]
I'd appreciate your company. We ought to prepare, then, aye?

...I feel his presence more, Lord Prastha. [ she then admits, looking away. holding her helm close. ]

...hah, I'm the one who killed Prince Zenos. You didn't take me down, though. I'm loyal to you, my Lord. [ She knows how wrong she feels. No-- how perfect she feels. How long does she have left, until she turns into another of those beasts...? As long as her Resonant can protect her, she'll continue to fight. ]

…more would have been destroyed otherwise. [A being that appeared near-incapable of thought- he wonders if there was another option, but- he doubts it, too. He squeezes her hand.]. You survived it. And so- I decided to place my faith in you. For however long it is- I'll do my best to look after you.

[ She seemed to relax a little, at his touch. For a moment, her eyes appeared green again. But only for that moment. ] Should I call you my Lord or my Nunh. [ It's... a joke. ]

[…it's something. Better than nothing, and his ears prick up at that again- Prastha looks floored for a moment, before he chuckles.]. Well. Whichever you preferred. But I'd like to think of you as family.

...Never told ya, did I? I saw the Flood coming. I saw it corrupt Lord Zenos.

I'm glad we could give you somewhere to be.

What sort of things do Miqo'te need for these sort of trips?
no subject
Hm. Nothing much more different than most other races, I should think- food, a tent to rest in…. Er, perhaps a brush. [If… anything gets into his tail.]

[He wraps both arms around her, hugging her tight- purring a little.]

Well.

[He smiles back, reaching up to stroke her hair.]
