[ Th'ancred had heard of the Make it Rain event, and had decided... well, he'd look cute in some of those clothes. And the bar there was good - and his daugher had gone, as well.

Perhaps he wanted to simply relax. The Scions were at rest - as far as they could be. They were preparing to see what the Source would bring - since it seemed to be a calm similar to periods of large activity.

But, for now, Th'ancred sat at the edge of the airship there, legs danging over. He could have teleported - he'd never been cursed by Flow - but he still wanted to feel the air against him. Sometimes he wondered if death was even a concept here. No, they'd be there soon, and he could gamble his heart away. (Maybe see if Alisaie would come home. She'd been set up there for days.) ]

It was… interesting, but not quite as informative as I'd have liked. He's very strange.

[ But as Moenbryda isn't puffing as much... it's clear she is bigger then she was. Around the side of a growing Chocobo, in that period when they begin to be trained. ]

But - y'know, even if he wanted me dead, he's quite passionate about caring for Urianger. If that's passion and not fear, that is.

[ She sort of leans onto the hand - which is now about half as big against her as before, and her scales are very fluffy. And... wait, she's rubbing against him, even as she's got her quill in one claw and another gripping to a journal. ]

Yeah. I don't know if he's not just crazy, with the cycle thing. But it adds up to my theory, doesn't it? And if my husband's his first self...

[ In other words, if time had really changed. She'd have said that, but... oh yeah, she suddenly feels herself flopping down, beginning to kick... and accidently kicking at her own papers. She lets out a scowl, trying to stop her kicking - and her feet stop on an odd 'book'. (It's her computer.) ]

That would… be a challenge, I'm sure. [a lot of people wish that, probably.]

He seemed to imply he knew something, when we spoke before… Though a proper answer would seem difficult to come by. Particularly with… everything going on.

[oh no it's adorable and he has to try and hold back being entirely delighted at that. That's kind of interesting, though, and he stops to look at it.]

[ She can't help but snort again, a little smoke coming out. ] Who knows, he might know exactly what's going on? Might have predicted you.

[ But, at his question, she seems a little... sad. ] Yeah, it is. Something from home. Doesn't have much power left, though. [ And she needs to focus on copying down what she can by hand before it runs out of battery... ]

Maybe. He certainly had something to do with it. […he really needs to ask if something can be done about it next time.]

Power? It looks like a book… [he frowns- reaching out to touch it. Looks like a book, but doesn't quite feel like it.] It's something else?

It's sort of... well, it's a book which... hold on a moment. [ She flops over and opens up the laptop, tail whipping. ] It's powered by stuff back home - harnessing safer Ceruleum for powering stuff like this. It's called a computer, and it can store lots of texts and pictures - and the image on the square can change. It's pretty impressive.

...And it's where I kept my translations. But if it can't charge, it'll run out of power. Otherwise I'd turn it on, you know?

[ To show him. ]

Safer Ceruleum? Now there's a boon. [he eyes it speculatively anyway.]

… If Cid's here… do you think he might be able to develop something to help?

Well, if he's anything like the Cid I knew, he'd need a few practice rounds. And we don't wanna lose this. Not until I'm done my backing up.

[he chuckles.] That's reasonable. [even if he did get it on trying the first time, it wouldn't hurt to have a copy.] Can the rest of us help?

Hmm... I think there's a way. But not today. I don't wanna go back to Roegadyn today. [ She says, softly. ]

Well, I haven't tried becoming much bigger then this. [ She says, now around the size of a large male Au Ra - a good size to an Elezen to ride on the back of. ] Wonder if I could become as big as that corpse? [ she means middy out there.

But then, she pauses. ]

No? It'd be interesting to know how far you could push- and that is pretty impressive. [he makes an uncertain sound] Well- probably, I'd think. Though maybe we should try that outside.

[he hesitates- thinking- and offers her a smile.] I would very much like to- I'd be a fool not to. [like this- as ever, she's incredible. he reaches out to touch her, gentle.]

Don't wanna become stuck in one form or another. That might be fine for Urianger? But I want to experiment.

[ As he touches her - she moves her head for a boop - her skin feels soft and warm and still almost feathery. (But also... a little dusty? Not the kind of dust which would be expected of a being from Eorzea.) ] Well then. Good thing you're a bit experienced. [ yes she's smirking. ]
