[ There was always time to rest between times of activity - and Th'ancred needed it. He hadn't expected his brother to return, however - his nervous clicking made that clear.
Oh, but he wasn't just nervously clicking because of Pratsha - the man he'd thought dead. No, though he wouldn't hide it, how could he tell the others what he lost? His magic, however, was so enhanced. He could taste aether in the air, and if he wanted, he was sure he could see it. However, that would drain far too much from him. Though it hurt to not see anymore.
His room, of course, was a mess (or would seem it for a non-Miqo'te). Both him and his brother shared it - it was more of a campsite, for it felt more natural for the shaken Nunh. He was sitting, head to the wall, when his ears twitched. Prastha was there, he could hear it. His footsteps sounded different then others.
Miqo'te ears, after all, were sensitive. Perhaps his clicking was because of that - helping him see what he knew before. ]
...Is everybody out there going okay? [ Th'ancred asked, turning around. ]

Minfilia! [he scrambles to sit up again, attention on her.] …how are you feeling?
no subject
...I'm outside, again.
no subject
You are. It's been… quite a while, as I understand it. I'm so glad to see you again.

Well, I suppose that wasn't for us.
no subject
We still remember it, though. And- the world moves on, with that in mind…
no subject
Is there... aught you want to know? [ She can't help but chirp. ]
no subject
Many things… A lot of whys, I suppose, such as- well, why feathers for you? [he reaches to touch a few, nuzzling into her again.] And- ah- what… did you experience there? If you wish to talk of it, of course.
no subject
As for what happened... it began, of course, with awakening in front of what seemed to be Hydaelyn. A glowing crystal, pulsating with Light.
no subject
Just as we'd always thought She'd look? And-- with Light, you say?

If not for it, Zodiark couldn't have made us during the Calamity. But it still influences Him.
no subject
And that's not how it's meant to be- is it? Though- I'm glad to be alive, of course. But- how could we remove Light? If that's what would help.
no subject
Th'ancred, though, is wrapping his tail around her. ] But if we could somehow communicate with Hydaelyn, we could... gift it to Her.
no subject
[He wraps his arms around her, rumbling.]
Could we- ah, you said She was sickly, would that help? Perhaps it would help both of them… Can we talk to them?
no subject
[ Th'ancred tsks. ] Gods are always stubborn, it seems.
no subject
[he huffs a little, tail curling around them.] I'd imagine so- assuming they can remember all the hurts done to them. I… what did He do, did He say?
no subject
But their Minfilia nods. ] He told me what He did. He... tried to usurp Zodiark, to control all of existance. Before the Era began - when there was a single world. A pain which meant Zodiark was sealed away, and Hydaelyn split into Thirteen.
no subject
To be the true ruler… And that gave rise to the worlds as we know them now. Small wonder She'd be reluctant to trust again, though.
no subject
[ Minfilia looks to him, and tilts her head. But she's not going to refuse them. It would be good to have more then one... and the two could remain with her. ] I wouldn't, either. But if the three of us came... it would still be a little untrustworthy. We're simply creations of Zodiark. It would be like negotiating with the Empire.
no subject
[and stay together, of course- that's certainly a factor.] Right… But we couldn't come as something we weren't, either- that would be in bad faith. We'd need… some form of proof.
no subject
I'd love to work alongside you again, brother.
no subject
[he makes a happy sound, wriggling a little.] I hoped we would!
[and- he reaches out to stroke her wings again a little, cheered.] These… look quite nice on you, to tell the truth.
