[ Krile had been rescued, and Fordola... well, she'd been taken in by their ally, Yda. Their weird double agent, who stood between Ala Mhigo and Garlemald. (Perhaps Minfilia would speak with them later, as there was no Warrior of Light. Having one just sounded silly!) But... a lot of thoughts had been running though her head. And now, she needed to talk with Thancred.
So she'd invited him to the Reach, to the statue itself. When she was younger, she'd always wished to see the sights from it, but she was only a child back then. A toddler. But her sight had been robbed, and she couldn't see it. That, and she'd gotten a terrible craving for aether - usually suckled out of people with small fangs she'd grown, since picking up this art. Thankfully, she didn't need to kill people... though she'd nearly done it a few times.
But Minfilia waits, feeling the wind. Feeling the anixety. It was horrible - for Regula was a fine man, who happened to be their enemy. They would need to face him, wouldn't they? And Shinryu was still missing. How could a whole Primal go missing? It almost felt like things were connected. In fact, she laid back on the palm, eyes closed. Not bothering to sense aether. ]
[He'd love to see it himself- but there's not much to be done about it, now. He's still trying to look after everyone as much as he can- trying to work out what they can do for the pieces they're missing, when he's not running support.
He gets himself there with a little huff on the final leap, smiling a little when he senses her.]
[ Thancreds' footsteps were nice, relaxing. However, Minfilia sits up as he approaches - in her new fancy dress. A gift from the Hext siblings, if she was going to represent Ala Mhigo.
It felt silky, it felt wonderful. Not that Thancred could see it. Unlike her, Thancred had admitted his loss. But Minfilia sat, waiting for Thancred to come next to her. ]
It is! From here, all of Rhalgrs' Reach stretches out below us. It almost makes you feel like Rhalgr Himself is ready to aid our cause.
It existed for a long time, even before the Mad King. [ she said, so gently. leaning into him as well, moving to mess with his tail. ] A symbol of Ala Mhigo.
But... thank you for joining me, Thancred. I didn't just call you up here to talk about the view. [ that'd be rude. ]
[he drapes it across her lap, to make it easier.] Watching over the lands, as would Rhaglr himself.
I suspected you might not have. But I'm always glad to spend time with you- especially now. [a gentle rumble comes from him, as he nuzzles into her.] What do you have on your mind?
[ :3 minfilia always uses it to calm herself. but now... ] Have you considered what may happen after Ala Mhigo is reclaimed? I-- was approached by the Resistance earlier.
[ Fordola felt ill. She'd been taken - saved, though she didn't know it - and it was also her first exposure to the full moon since her experiments. Feathers had begun to sprout on her, and she had just finished stripping off - trying to still hide from the griffin who'd seemed to take her in. ]
Damn it - still feel blinded. What was in that siphon...?!
[ She had no idea her speech had changed to the language of the Void, of beasts from there. ]
[Yda's thinking- probably she should Fordola a little space, but she's still protective and staying close, her tail waving. She'd wanted to care for this lady, and now…!!]
Huh? What sort of siphon are we talking about?
[she perks up a little, chirping. Curious, but excited to talk, too!]
[ Now, Fordola had gotten used to the strange chirping of this void griffin. Strange, but sort of comforting. At first, she doesn't quite register that the bird's talking, and just replies. ]
Somethin' that the Warrior and their allies used on me. Heard mumblings about a siphon from that fancy cloaked one...
Y'sure? Because... might just be th'pain talking. [ Fordola says, approaching a little - oh. Her gaze has also changed, her eyes almost seem bird-like. ]
[ Just as the forced-younger Fordola had said, she knew how to sneak into the Ala Mhigan palace. She knew her way around, to where Shinryu was being kept. Except... it wasn't where she thought. Instead, the dragon was in a magicked cage in the gardens. It was almost comical, how easily she knew to get around.
If asked about it? She had to know, for it was part of their shared heritage.
But the dragon is there, tied up. Eyes closed, mouth restrained with Allagan tethers. Unable to bite at anything, anybody - dried blood from where he'd tried. Even the slight tail swishes he can do are overwhelming, however - the aether of this beast was massive, even if it was mostly subdued. Is Papalymo even in there...?
Fordola finally slipped her hand out from Ydas', so that she could look towards the entrance. In case anybody ended up here. In case the fight moved here. She held a different blade, for she couldn't quite hold her normal one as a child. She kept glancing back, though - just what was Yda going to do with that beast? ]
[Hells. She can't help but be a little impressed by the size of the dragon- a little intimidated, too. It's hard to tell- but she's really not used to Papalymo being anything like this size, so maybe it's just hard because of that.
She glances back at Fordola, giving her a reassuring grin (she might not quite feel it, but they probably need it).]
[ Her words, at first, didn't seem to get though to Shinryu. The dragon was still dazed, still confused. But... well... that suddenly changes, as it tries to shift to look to her. Eyes wide, and a soft growl coming from the tied-up mouth.
[ Ever since Lyse had returned to the Rising Stones - left back to Mor Dhona without telling the group why - she'd locked herself away. Papalymo had talked to her a few times, but... this was bad. He'd begun to walk around as a Kirin, though, and had gone all the way to visit Yda. Well, Yda and Fordola - who'd remained with her. ]
She's not coming back to the Reach. [ Papalymo said, as he went to cuddle up to her a little. ] I tried, Yda!
[ At least those burdened has a lot of Anima, and could teleport between Aetherytes easily. But still - Papalymo, filled with wrath, was whipping his tail hardcore. ]
She's not? [That surprises Yda a lot- she'd thought Lyse would want to stay with them, and learn more about Ala Mhigo. But then- it did seem as though she was taking that research seriously…]. I'm sure you did- but she's pretty stubborn, huh? Maybe that means we've gotta go to her.
[because she is worried, even as she wraps he arms around him.]
[Yda purrs in turn, leaning in to nuzzle and kiss him, tail flicking playfully. Though…]
She did? That's… that's not good. I dunno either, but… we gotta talk to her. She said she was gonna look into things, but… I didn't htink it'd be like this.
It might be due to the Auracite, [ Papalymo reasoned, ] but she's had a real sour mood after all of this.
I dunno. [ Fordola then said, speaking up. ] Maybe it's because she doesn't know what t'do? A lot of these Mhigans're millin' around, tryin' to figure out their place.

He'd thought- well, probably they'd notice, in any case, and he wouldn't be able to keep it up too long.
He comes over, settling down next to her- leaning into her a little, for the comfort.]
It does! I wonder… if maybe it was intended for that- to remind anyone who came up here of what they'd be fighting for.
