Bahamut was returning, as a Primal would. To hold it back, I took on the essence, as my dearest of brothers took on the essence of a second Primal sighted. In case word got out - chaos would spread if Bahamut was sighted. [ It was the same with Phoenix - and she hid that fact. Her grandfather, now part of her twin... it hurt. It hurt so much. But after taking on the form of Bahamut, she had felt more anger and less sadness. But then, she nods - eyes focused. ]

That will also take time. New bodies are... tiring. It is like a Fantasia. The mind shall adapt. [ (Which, to her, are hard to find and expensive to create.) ] And Haurchefant. He tries his best. He would only harm by mistake. And would fix it.

[ Suddenly, the place shakes. Seems Haurchefant used some form of strong breath attack. ]

Hmmm. I agree with that logic. [He glances at the now broken eggs. It seems everything was under control with that primal.

And then the place shakes, waking up his Unicolt and sending it hiding beneath one of his legs. He offers it a hand to nuzzle before looking back to Alisae.]

Ah, he is making me a place to stay...

He offered me one. [ She didn't accept - but she does nest here sometimes. Gotta keep moving. Gotta make sure nobody has to suffer this fate, or finds her. It's a little lonely - he may notice as she moves a little closer to him. ] This mountain is becoming a cavern. Adventurers may come.
[ She does, however, also offer out her own clawed hand for the Unicolt - and begins to give a little rub of the back. It's hard to see, but she is smiling - her eyes have a slight sparkle. Even though they were the babies of her... ally, she couldn't help it. It's... cute~! ]

[She reminds him of Alphinaud a bit, but he won't say that. He just rests an arm over her shoulders, watching as she pets the Unicolt.]

I think it imprinted to me, instead of its true father.

As for the adventurers, I'm sure he will deal with them if needed. He has that style of personality.

He doesn't think of himself as a father. I've asked him why he does not smash his eggs. They are gifts.

[ Another small shake - Haurche is really working up there, as Alisaie worries. ]

Well, I'm a dragon, and it wasn't your doing. There are other ways this could have happened. I was created by dragon blood... and a fiasco with the lifestream, but still.

...I do not know much about his personal life. [ She lies - she knows quite a bit from observing from the skies. She is sort of resting into his arm, though - it has been a while since she could. Looks like you've got a new daughter, Thancred. (What will Minfilia think?) ] Men like that desire contact.
[ Not like her. Not at all. b-baka. But she looks to him with a bit of a scowl. ]
Do not mess with the lifestream. That is the first thing you should learn. [ Not even if you were trying to escape guards. ] You may be different then us. But we were all made in different ways. One by Lifestream, one by Primal, and one by God.

[If anyone ever told him he'd be comforting the scion of Bahamut, he would have laughed at them, then knocked them over the head. But here he was, with her leaning against him, petting the unicolt now attached to him.]

As for the Lifestream issue, it wasn't my choice. Another Scion cast Flow, and I was caught up in it. Strange but true, I guess. I don't plan on taking a trip that way for a while if ever.

[ Which is always a hassle. Probably caused some of the issues in this world, she feels. After all, her Alphinaud complains of memories from another time and world. ]

I will, I wouldn't leave without at least mentioning I was safe. Besides, I think I'll stick around for a least a while.

About 20 minutes later, Haurchefant returned, back in his winged humanoid form - beaming. ]
There! Your splendid den is done! It took a bit to make sure you'd be able to climb from the main passages - before you learn to fly, that is!

[Thancred looked up when he landed, watching as the Unicolt scampered over to try and get some attention from the new arrival. He stood and walked over to him too.]

But, of course. When I was first turned, I was alone and quite frightened. What way is that to live? I don't wish for another to suffer like that.
