[ There was always time to rest between times of activity - and Th'ancred needed it. He hadn't expected his brother to return, however - his nervous clicking made that clear.
Oh, but he wasn't just nervously clicking because of Pratsha - the man he'd thought dead. No, though he wouldn't hide it, how could he tell the others what he lost? His magic, however, was so enhanced. He could taste aether in the air, and if he wanted, he was sure he could see it. However, that would drain far too much from him. Though it hurt to not see anymore.
His room, of course, was a mess (or would seem it for a non-Miqo'te). Both him and his brother shared it - it was more of a campsite, for it felt more natural for the shaken Nunh. He was sitting, head to the wall, when his ears twitched. Prastha was there, he could hear it. His footsteps sounded different then others.
Miqo'te ears, after all, were sensitive. Perhaps his clicking was because of that - helping him see what he knew before. ]
...Is everybody out there going okay? [ Th'ancred asked, turning around. ]

Soon, though, it's clear that Th'ancred is crying, holding Minfilia in his arms. He slightly loosens his grip, to show she's safe, if not... asleep, and almost looking like a literal angel. Urianger, however, moves to unlock the door. ] --I shall get aid. Move him somewhere-- anywhere.
no subject
He glances at Urianger, nodding.]
Right. I think- somewhere more comfortable, at least- 'ancred, can you walk a little?

Th'ancred seems to smile at her - or in that direction - a little, though, before just letting out soft rumbles to his brother. ]
no subject
He rumbles back, tugging Th'ancred over to sit down.] Are you- how bad is it? [because- Th'ancred seems obviously hurt, and he starts pulling together energy to push into a Cure for him now.]
no subject
[ Softly, gently, he let Minfilia relax a little on him. She truly looked like a classical angel, if not for the blackness staining her. ] ...She met our-- she met God.
no subject
… Zodiark?
no subject
...The very same. So you already know-- we were never under Hydaelyns' light? Poor Minfilia... she couldn't handle learning it.
[ Oh. So he probably found Minfilia there, and... then what? ]
no subject
I found out- through talking to Moenbryda. She'd- been in his realm. I- no, I can't imagine- when we'd thought it was Hydaelyn's blessing, all this time…
What happened?
no subject
...We should begin with why she went into Flow. [ Th'ancred says, softly - brushing though her hair, that faded to a familiar purple. ] She heard a voice calling her - Zodiark, though we had all called Him Hydaelyn for so very long.
no subject
[he gives a soft unhappy sound on seeing that, but cuddles closer.] Calling her… into the Lifestream, to talk to Him? To what end? …did that… seem to bother Him?
no subject
[ There seems to be a soft, tired chuckle. ]
...He's but a child, Prastha.
no subject
[he bites his lip, considering.]
Does… He need someone to learn from? Should we try to talk to Him?
no subject
[ Because sometimes, objects would fall - not towards the Void, but towards the First. Or, in their case, the Second. ]
Until the first time He saw a Spoken, and wished to make His own. Copying history taken from the world Hydaelyn blesses the most, He...
[ Th'ancred takes a deep gulp. This... he wouldn't have believed it, without proof. The horrible truth of their existence. ]
...made us. And all of this... only five years ago.
no subject
Ah- to have children of His own? It… makes sense, but…
[he flattens his ears, gulping.]
But- we remember. Don't we? Did… you saw something, didn't you. [because- he seems certain in retelling this.]
no subject
...Well, he didn't show me. [ He says, softly - his eyes are still silver. ] But he did prove it. How small our world is... it barely extends over Eorzea. A diagram - he let me run my finger over it, and I could feel everywhere, in miniature.
It felt real. It was as if... sometimes, you simply know something is true, from how it's shown?
no subject
Ah- of course. [he sighs, leaning in a little.] And- the miniature ended at- certain points? I suppose- an entire wolrd is a lot to start with…
[he feels cold- drawing his legs up- but he's still reaching out to hold onto Th'ancred.] …yes. Like the curtain had been drawn back on something you'd partially known. And that's how you felt?
I… it's terrifying.
no subject
But, for all of this, Th'ancred only sounds mildly upset. ] Zodiark wanted Minfilia to show the world, but... I don't think it's ready.
no subject
…learning that it's not as full as we think it is? No, I don't think so, either. But what do we do…? Do we try to encourage them towards it…? But that's no easy task…
no subject
I don't know what to do. I-- just want to make sure we're all safe. Alive - by the grace of Zodiark or by our own skills.
[ Urianger hasn't heard all of this - but he seems to have an idea. ] ...Lead the darkness to aid the light...
no subject
So do I- for all of us to live, and be happy.
Hm? [he tilts his head, looking back at Urianger.] Put the strengths of the two powers together, in other words?
no subject
My contact tells me Hydaelyn is dying - both Light and Darkness lacking. He came to me to seek... darkness to gift her. If we could get them to work together, then would it not aid Zodiark? And... give us chance to give Him guidance?
no subject
Ah- and so she needs both? I… wouldn't have expected darkness to be what she needed- but if you're sure- Your contact is trustworthy for this, correct? [he hums, thinking.] That's… I think it would benefit us to try to give Him some guidance.
no subject
Urianger sighed, though. ] My contact can travel to them - but both are needed. Without them, everything will vanish. And there is one land which needs far more darkness - for Light flooded it. It is the Shard next to ours. [ a h. But Urianger seems to be smiling a little, with too many teeth. ]
Could we not guide Him to create a finer world - one finer then Hydaelyn? Even if we would turn to Beings of Light, like Moenbryda.
