[ It was one of those times where NOAH was still figuring out their way past the Labyrinth of the Ancients, and Nero was still lingering.

Today, though, he had found himself by the side of G'raha, when G'raha was taking a break. Not that Nero had been watching for it, of course not.

With a soft grunt, he flopped down next to him, holding a few of the tomestones that they'd been tasked to decyther. (Nero, honestly, had been asked not to join in this, but. Nero had waited until Rammbroes wasn't paying attention and stolen these ones.) ]

[he chuckles a little.]

They're handy indeed! We'll still have to see about getting you your own again…

[ He's chuckling as well! ]

You know I've been looking though documentation here - you'd not believe how many failed chimera experiments that they tried! [ chimera are curious okay, he recalls garlemald wanting to augment bodies ] Still nothing on where we'd find another fully-working body.

[ But as usual, he's moving towards teleporters. After all, he's sure G'raha is as curious as him. ]

Well- they weren't stopping until they succeeded- but I probably still wouldn't believe the actual number.

[they're very curious- very weird.] Tch… Well, we'll keep looking.

[he definitely is! matching his pace to Nero.]

And they did succeed. And then used some of them for power. How very curious - you do know that anything could be used for that? The efficiency reports aren't here!

[ only nero would worry about that instead of their lives. ] I'll need you to look over some of those strange ones, mind you. The images with text.

[ Soon, though, they get to the room - and as Nero thought, it is quite a bit bigger then usual, and he is vibrating a little. Especially since, well, it's one of the few ways he can emote. ]

Of course… Oh, for power? It seems dangerous, but… clearly they made it work. [he puffs out a breath.] Really- you'd think they'd document it somewhere.

[he whistles a little.] We've definitely got more than usual… I wonder what else he's sent? It can't all be supplies…

[time to start unpacking!]

[ At first, there's more blankets and foodstuff - packed nicely. Nero seems to huff a little, as he's watching... until he seems a gleam of metal, packed loosely in near to some cleaning supplies. ]

...Raha, what's that? Did Cid think we didn't have enough tools? [ they have nero right here! ]

[All of which is useful and appreciated, and G'raha repacks those for easy carrying and storage. He stops there, though, with a surprised sound.]

It doesn't quite look like a tool… Let me see.

[in fact- as he digs it out, it looks like… a small metal cat? Light enough he can hold it out to show Nero, at least.]

…huh. What do you think…? It's a little cute, isn't it?

[ ...Oh no. The death orb begins to let out curious sounds - a light metal cat? It almost looked robotic, and Nero... found it adorable okay. Be quiet. ]

...Would you mind if I took it? You have quite a bit to pack away. With my help, I suppose - of course, feel free to use some of the automations.

[It does look adorable, and G'raha grins a little. Caught Nero's interest, huh?]

[yep- he'll just bother a few to come carry things, it's good.]

[ But soon, the mechanical robot cat comes out to see G'raha, during transport times. The Orb isn't with it, but it's moving.

And has that kind of excitement in his pose which Nero would have before. Grinning, he sits at G'rahas' feet, twin tails slightly waving. ]

[G'raha perks up immediately, grining.]

Found a way to get yourself inside it? That's great! What does it feel like?

[…oooh, two tails. how cute! …he shouldn't say that, probably.]

It's not Allagan - but it's quite adnyanced. [ The voice is awfully... cute as well, and did Nero just... nya? Still not Neros' voice, though. ] But did it have to be this blue?

[omg he needs to stifle this snicker. It's adorable… he almost can't believe his eyes.]

It must have come that way… We could always find some paint.

Paint? If you're not an artnyist, 'Raha [ oh my gosh he pronounced the miqo'te aitch before his name :3 ], why use those tools? No, dying the metal would make the red linger longer.

[ Wait. Suddenly, he is pouting. With big kitten eyes. ]

[OH NO he leans down to scoop Nero up, a little rumble building.]

[ !!! He would brag more but now /is held, and. He lets out a little grumble out of his throat. ]

You could be lying. I am the strongest autonyation [ - goddamnit he can't stop nya-ing and meow-ing - ] of Allag. That is not cute.

[G'raha rumbles back fully, nuzzling a little.]

Not in the least. The strongest, and the most likely to take others by surprise when you show that strength. It's charming!

[ ...As Nero nuzzles back, it seems the metal does have a soft fur covering. But he still looks so grumpy. ]

...Charming, I'd accept. But not cute.

[whoever built this body clearly understood the need for nuzzling! Though it doesn't seem to be helping Nero as much, which is disappointing. He stays rumbling a little.]

Charming seems a suitable compromise, then. It must have been whatever the maker of this body had in mind…

…do you recall if we had a stock of dye?

[ Look even his tails are swishing and his ears are up and! Look he is happy. ]

...I don't think so. [ Look he's rumbling as well, but now he's thinking. ] I'll scan the storage ryooms.

[a happy Nero! He likes it a lot, grinning.]

Well- I suppose it's not urgent, but it would be nice… [hm. might as well start heading for the nearest room, then.] Perhaps for other things, too…?

[ Nero thinks it's weird being carried, but he is still purring and closing his eyes. ]

...I missed having eyes, you knyow. I'm still scanning, mind you. Might as well do a stocktake, nyes?

[this way he gets to cuddle Nero and Nero can focus on scanning! wins all around.]
