[ There was always time to rest between times of activity - and Th'ancred needed it. He hadn't expected his brother to return, however - his nervous clicking made that clear.

Oh, but he wasn't just nervously clicking because of Pratsha - the man he'd thought dead. No, though he wouldn't hide it, how could he tell the others what he lost? His magic, however, was so enhanced. He could taste aether in the air, and if he wanted, he was sure he could see it. However, that would drain far too much from him. Though it hurt to not see anymore.

His room, of course, was a mess (or would seem it for a non-Miqo'te). Both him and his brother shared it - it was more of a campsite, for it felt more natural for the shaken Nunh. He was sitting, head to the wall, when his ears twitched. Prastha was there, he could hear it. His footsteps sounded different then others.

Miqo'te ears, after all, were sensitive. Perhaps his clicking was because of that - helping him see what he knew before. ]

...Is everybody out there going okay? [ Th'ancred asked, turning around. ]

[He glances away, ears flattening.] I wasn't, but- I know why he did. I- well, I suppose you do have the opportunity to hear them again, after all. [very embarrassing! He nods.] Hard to forget- but children do do that. I remember, myself…

[he looks to Urianger, worried- squeezing his arm a little.] But- this is, these are our lives. That's not… that can't be right.

[ Urianger softly puts his hand to Prastha as well, frowning. ] You can-- you can handle this? I feel strange. [ But if it's Moenbryda, it should be fine...? Right...? He doesn't want to, but his eyes feel heavy, as Moenbryda seems so happy. ]

It is. Light has forsaken us - she gave us no protection, when she could. But Zodiark has been mending these mistakes. He revived those who died in Operation Archon.

[He gives Urianger a gentle squeeze- worrying, but-] I'll do my best. Just- relax for a bit. [he's got to try and look after them.]

That- that shouldn't be so, should it? Mending- and that's one way? Ah- who was revived?

[ At being told to relax, Urianger seemed to smile a little. Yeah. Even with the weird screech-clicks and the odd warmth he's feeling. ]

...Abandoned by Light, Darkness is all that can mend us. Iii... still don't have all the details. Even if I'm a master of Auracite, Zodiark is more then I expected. But still - if he could revive me from nothing, isn't that grand?

[ ...So her form was made by Zodiark, as she purrs and wraps around Urianger more. ]

[He keeps a hand on Urianger, trying to reassure him- this is all still strange, but- manageable. He thinks.]

So Darkness is the power left to us… but why? I… surely there's some way we can learn… [he makes a little sound of agreement.] It… certainly is impressive. Though- [he reaches out, to try and touch her head a little- behind her ears.] This is, ah. Very different.

...I don't know why. [ She says, a little defeated - until he began to pet behind her ears. Her hair seems to melt a little, seems to let his fingers get coated in the warm flowing rivers. There's a satisfied look on her face, though. ] Really? You always liked how weird my ears looked. Not like yours.

And- I don't suppose Zodiark does, either…? [He frowns at her hair- lifting his fingers to look at them, before he starts fussing with her ears again.] They were very nice- well, they still are, but they're… not the same. I- you seem the same, as far as your memory and behaviour goes, but this… is strange.

He wouldn't answer me. [ When he looked at them, though, there would be a bit of... something lingering on them. But it's gone, after a moment. And besides, she looks happy, as Urianger's... passed out.

Oops. ] I-- they're really not the same. Because from here, they really look the same to me? It's you who looks so weird, with how thin you've gotten, and how broken you look.

That's… I wonder what that means. If anything, of course. [he makes a little puzzled sound, but- oh. Just- give him a moment, to help make sure Urianger's comfortable.]

No. I… they look like another miqo'te's ears now. [he traces the tip, and makes an unhappy sound.] I suppose- we might be able to blame that on being in Garlemald. I've- been trying to eat a little better… [he still worries, though.]

[ She's helping too, massaging Urianger as he softly groans. As he softly gets cuddled into her. ] Probably means I need to buy him some nice wine first. Can you even get a god drunk?

[ Probably, Moenbryda thinks, as she huffs. ] They do not. Did Garlemald re-program you that badly? [ o h... this is gonna be Difficult. ] But I could get you some good food.

[Well, Urianger does deserve soft cuddles. He rumbles a little.] … I don't know. But I imagine you'll be the first to find out.

[He stares at her for a moment, blinking, and shakes her head.] Of course not. I- I wouldn't let them do that. [this is going to be rough, and- he wants to ask her how she sees herself, now, but- he sort of doesn't want to deal with it, too.] You could…? From where?

[ She's gonna try. She really is, as she laughs.

But she then nuzzles against him, resting a bit on Urianger - she seems to be dripping on him. What does she see, with her six eyes...? ] There's been quite some nice food in that other realm. You wouldn't think there's food in the Lifestream, but he fed me. It tingled at first, but got better. Around the time I got back together, in fact.

[He nuzzles her back, trying to shift to ensure they're all comfortable. He wonders, trying to brush off the drops. What that is, exactly- and what she's seeing in him, of course.]

It's certainly surprising… I wouldn't have imagined food was needed. It… tingled? [That… sounds like it did something. Affixing… all the parts of her together? He sighs, a little, leaning back- trying to reach out to bat at something that seems to keep brushing against him, now.] I think- the kitchens here will suffice. But I appreciate the offer.

It was to help fix me. But yeah, a tingling and I was fine. Well, fine enough - still stuck in there. [ Softly purring, she then sighed. ] Right, except - didn't Urianger lock the door? Because... of me? [ She sounds honestly hurt, as the thing brushing against him seems to be still slow. But... fluffy? ]

...Tell me the truth, Prastha. Do I really look weird? And... how weird?

An extra component needed? I see. So you needed- a door to open? [he rumbles a little, ears drooping.] …right. I- it's fine, we should wait for the others in any case. [Fluffy… he darts a quick glance at it, but- he assumes it's probably not bad if it feels like that. Just- where did it come from?

He hesitates, gaze dropping.]

…you do. More- like a Miqo'te, only- flowing. With six eyes, and- some strangeness, but a glimmer in yourself…

[ She nodded, and would say more, but... then he tells her. And Moenbryda begins to slide off of Urianger a little, concerned - a little worried. ]

Six, huh... well, Zodiark did mention they had another to fix at the same time. Y'see, they didn't want anybody to die, so... wanted to revive that Ascian as well. Powerless, though. Can't just make an Ascian - they're different. [ And that fluffy thing? Well, it's coming out of Uriangers' cloak. ]

[he straightens with a soft sound, watching her, concerned for her.]

Well- the Ascians are theirs, aren't they? So- I understand… [he's not delighted, but it feels like it makes sense.] Is that- would that mean- are they- in there, with you? But it- became like this, because- Ascians don't have their own bodies…?

[…uh. He follows it to Urianger's cloak, letting out another concerned sound- and reaches for Urianger's shoulder, to try and turn him to see.]

...I don't think Zodiark knows too much about Spoken, if I'm honest. But I'm all me - probably just using parts to help keep together--

--Twelve. Did I hurt Urianger. [ She then says, seeing him reach for Urianger and releasing him. And... he looks mostly Miqo'te, even if there's a stinger buried in the fur of his tail, and his teeth are sharper, and he's still passed out. ]

They may be no need to, if people don't usually reach them in life. But- that's- I'm glad to hear that. And- thankful to the others, then.

[He checks Urianger over, tail flicking, before going to carefully examine the stinger in Urianger's tail.] I- don't know. But I don't think he's going to enjoy waking up- he looks much more Miqo'te-like, too.

Yeah, he was a jerk. Tried to steal and use Tupsimati. [ She says, off-handedly - before letting out a little whine.

Urianger, though, is beginning to stir - his ears flicking. They're... really fluffy, but not uncomfortable. There's no sign he was ever anything else... ] Maybe... I was trying to make him like me? I'm so sorry.

[Prastha rumbles- a little threatening, before he reaches out to touch her shoulder.] …he should have known better. But- well. You're here now.

[It's strange. He reaches to touch them a little- just gently, and wonders. Will Urianger remember, and need to adjust, or… think this was usual?] I… it sounded like that, a little. I think you meant to help- if that's any reassurance. But- you should tell him that.

[ When he pulls away, though, he may notice... were his claws always that long?

But Moenbryda nodded. ] I will, if he can understand me--

--Gods. [ It's the first word out of Uriangers' mouth, it feels wrong, he just closes his eyes and tries to ball up. Heee's. In pain. ]

[He stares at them for a moment, folding and unfolding his fingers, and forces himself to take a deep breath. This is- it's not so bad, is it? he can- make use of this, probably.] You- wanted to help both of us, right?

Well- if I still need to play go-between, I can… [He hopes- whatever she's done has helped with that, though.]

Urianger! [It drops to the side for a moment, though, as he presses his hands against Urianger, trying to gather the energy for Cure, to help him a little.]

[ Moenbryda slinks back a little, though, and Urianger seems to accept the Cure. He smiles a little - ow. His mouth hurts. He has so many sharp teeth now, though if he's noticed, he hasn't said anything. ]

The beast-- it... she lulled me to sleep...?

[Prastha attempts a smile back, though he's still worried.]
