[ Th'ancred had heard of the Make it Rain event, and had decided... well, he'd look cute in some of those clothes. And the bar there was good - and his daugher had gone, as well.
Perhaps he wanted to simply relax. The Scions were at rest - as far as they could be. They were preparing to see what the Source would bring - since it seemed to be a calm similar to periods of large activity.
But, for now, Th'ancred sat at the edge of the airship there, legs danging over. He could have teleported - he'd never been cursed by Flow - but he still wanted to feel the air against him. Sometimes he wondered if death was even a concept here. No, they'd be there soon, and he could gamble his heart away. (Maybe see if Alisaie would come home. She'd been set up there for days.) ]

[ aw yiis she leans into it, with a little blep ]
As long as I've got my husband, I can handle staying here. I just hope they don't miss me too much.
no subject
Oh? Well, congratulations! [he smiles, eyebrows raised a little… she and Urianger were speaking quite closely, right?] I… wish I could say. [he shrugs, a little helpless. the trouble is- he suspects they do, after all.]

[ And then she gave a laugh, fluttering up again to land on him, to give him another playful nip - tail flickering. ] It was rather dramatic, how I ended up here. Storm, fleeing a faked death, and all of that. I... promised I'd send them letters. [ Loneliness enters her voice, as she lets herself rest herself fully on him. ] Maybe I'm really dead to them.
no subject
Oof- [but it's fine, reaching up to pat her again.] A tale worthy of song, would you say? [though… he goes quieter at that, a little.] … I hope not. May- could you send one now, do you think? [how does inter-world mail work.]
no subject
[ But nope, now she's a bit sad. ] I don't know if we could find my world. I mean, who even knows what Moogles are? [ What she's saying is that the Moogle probably can do inter-world mail. ]
no subject
In your world? [he shifts, surprised- hard to imagine a world without…] It must be possible, though.
no subject
Oops. Yeah, Moogle were... it's complex, back home. [ How does she explain that they didn't have much of this? She hadn't even tried with Urianger. But Urianger can be dense sometimes.
But, finally, she rests her head down, sort of wrapping herself around him. ]
...Guess I'd better introduce myself, though. It's Moenbryda.
no subject
Complex? How complex do you mean? [Urianger's usually quite clever, but… he does have a few blind spots. Still- that's what the rest of them can help with, after all.
He smiles- something soft- and goes back to scritching her head, moving to sit down again.] I'd… been suspecting as much, I'll admit. But- it's good to be certain- and to meet you. Again, I suppose.
no subject
Moogles are sort of a fairy tale back home. All these beast tribes are - you know, not real? We didn't even have dragons.
no subject
When you said that, before… I didn't think this would be what you'd follow it up with. [he'd imagined a pretty mystical entry here, what with the storm.] It must have been… quite a contrast. What did you have, then?

...And, yeeeeah. Kept wanting to steal the Gran Grimoire. [ An artifact which even exists in Eorzea - a forbidden book, said to reshape worlds. And she brings it up so casually. ] That's why-- that's how I got involved in all of this. One of them wanted to steal my translations. And, about five years back? Or... well, more like six now. They murdered my mentor.
[ Moenbryda goes from sounding sad to mad - a soft puff of flames coming out, before she tries to stop another - a little smoke coming from her. Being a dragon was weird. ]
no subject
That- I thought no one could touch it. […he heard a vague whisper and got next to nowhere, so. he sounds amazed.] But you've been working on it? Twelve… I'm sorry.
[he might… just try to shift her a little bit away from the books. But- he strokes her back, trying to be reassuring, strange as it feels to do so right now.]
no subject
Really? Because Louisoix kept it with him a lot of the time. In a bag, but still. ...But, uh, thanks. I... was targetted because we were close. And the translation, of course. Which I've got with me, we just can't get to it right now.
no subject
Hm… Well- I suppose that's another difference. Though maybe some of the others might know something more… [he shifts more to trying to cuddle her, now.] It wasn't… it's not easy. [a grimace.] That… makes sense. But you're safe enough here, aren't you?
no subject
[ But she gulps down a soft sob, as she climbs into his arms. Damnit, she should be comforting somebody new stuck here, even if he has the same charming face as Thancred Waters, famous celebrity.. ]
Yeah, I am. Unless those weird cultists find their way here - y'know, those Ascian.
no subject
[she is of a cuddling size, though!
He shakes his head- hoping, but- and cuddles closer.]
… I'd hope they wouldn't have a way between worlds, but… I'd hope they wouldn't be the same ones here, at least. [there's. some mental cursing going on now.]
no subject
Who knows? They might be the exact same. I mean, we've both come from other worlds. Not that I'd want that - they're creeps.
no subject
We did, that's true. Still- no, I wouldn't want that either. [he chuckles a little, himself] I'd use something stronger- but that's accurate.

Is it so much to ask for that one of us wasn't?

And maybe - just maybe - these cores keep going though similar events.
