pile of creds
[ Th'ancred had heard of the Make it Rain event, and had decided... well, he'd look cute in some of those clothes. And the bar there was good - and his daugher had gone, as well.
Perhaps he wanted to simply relax. The Scions were at rest - as far as they could be. They were preparing to see what the Source would bring - since it seemed to be a calm similar to periods of large activity.
But, for now, Th'ancred sat at the edge of the airship there, legs danging over. He could have teleported - he'd never been cursed by Flow - but he still wanted to feel the air against him. Sometimes he wondered if death was even a concept here. No, they'd be there soon, and he could gamble his heart away. (Maybe see if Alisaie would come home. She'd been set up there for days.) ]

[…maybe he should look in on Alphinaud at some point. Just… see what's happening.]
Haha… not likely, without a lot of resources. And I don't think that'd last long, with the rest of us around.
no subject
Even if... [ she has flopped back into bed. ] Even if it takes everything we have.
[ there is a worried th'ancred look ]
no subject
[he nuzzles a little closer, worried.] Well- I'd rather it didn't come to that. Let's try and avoid it taking that much, shall we?

But then Minfilia... closes her eyes. ] When I first merged the Archon and the Path of the Twelve, I did not think of them as family. But now... we truly are. And we keep growing...
no subject
It took time. More people to care for… but also more of us to look after each other.

[ After a bit more rest, Minfilia had to get back to work. Of course, she let the faerie remain with her - as she began to get though paperwork for the many missions the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and the Judge Magister worked on. (Sometimes, they worked together - and, so, she needed to keep them safe and legal.)
That is, until Tataru comes in with tea and tarts and insists she takes a break - besides, Alisaie is coming by soon!
And so, in one of the break rooms, Minfilia sat with the faerie, Tataru having gotten... doll accessories for the smaller Thancred. ]
That's not demeaning, is it? [ Minfilia asked, as she nibbled at a tart. ]

It's… odd. But they're the right size, at least… [more or less.]

I don't know - it is quite a hard thing to shop for.
[ And then, the door opens, to a young lady draped in fancy clothing and a harsh look.
But... she gives a look to the two, silently, and then begins to ruffle though her bags. ]
no subject
[He straightens up a little, peering at her curiously.] Ah… hello? I don't… have we met? [there's something a little familiar, maybe? …but what does she have, in any case.]
no subject
[ Alisaie looks to them for another moment, before... getting to work. ]
no subject
I see! Well, it's good to see you, even if this isn't… how I'd thought it would happen.
[can he come peer at what she's making? he's coming over.]
no subject
You use daggers, yes?
[ She then asks, her voice still quiet. ]
no subject
Ah- well, yes. I haven't… really had any reason to change that. [he's pretty sure any healing would simply transfer between weapon types.]
no subject
It wouldn't fit your hands. Not right now.
...It's hard to handle, isn't it.
no subject
[he goes quiet for a moment, and nods, slowly. Quietly-]
I hadn't… imagined the possibility of changing this much.

Minfilia sighs a little, taking a sip. ] You recall the Crystal Braves, do you not? In her shard of Eorzea, they turned twisted, and learned how to summon the Primal Bahamut. Alisaie took on the duty of holding the Primal within.
By now, they're the same being.
no subject
[he shifts a little closer- leaning against her.]
no subject
They never began, here. [ There's an uncomfortable pause. ] But I have never seen a... me. From here.
no subject
A good thing, perhaps… [he frowns.] Then… perhaps she didn't come? Or… could something has happened…? […of course it could. but still.]
no subject
Small daggers, made of sharp rare gems, glimmering in the light. She gives a small grunt of approval to herself, before offering them to him. ]
I hope she's safe. It would be nice to have a sister. She wouldn't... hurt me.
no subject
[he nods.] I couldn't see why she would. Hopefully we'll find her, safe and well.
no subject
[ A lil huff. ] I was going to sleep forever. [ With Alphinaud. But she's gotten back to crafting. ]
no subject
…well. I'm glad you decided to stay awake.
