[ He's still scared of saying his name, else he might appear. ] If I ever turn to them again...

[ No, he can't say it. ]

[A pendant…? Well- it's not really a surprise Urianger would pick up something of the sort in time, but- he wonders what the story is, exactly.

He blinks at the dragon- turning a little. They're working with Dravanians, Minfilia said… is this one of them? He wriggles his fingers at it.]

No… I don't think they would have come across it. [he grimaces- looks up again.] …We'll try to see that doesn't happen.

[ ...Oh gosh. The small dragon - who's actually Moenbryda - notices the finger wiggle... and suddenly bounces at him, letting out little playful grunts. (She could shift to her true form, but she prefered being like this right now.) ]

There is always a chance that I shall-- [ And then he sees the dragon who's playfully fluttering around Thancred - clearly, not what you'd expect from the reborn Father of All Dragons. ] ...I did not know that-- others had come into here. [ look at his embarrassed face ]

[small dragon! If she did, he'd be a lot more startled- but this is fine.]

Maybe. But… […he's still Urianger at heart, right? He reaches out, in an attempt to keep her from fluttering too hard, and offers a bit of a grin.] I'd been wondering when they got in.

[ Hope you don't mind tiny gentle nips, Thancred, on those fingers! Even if she is giving Urianger a visible shit-eating grin as she does. ] Fore you worry, none who have not been allowed in here before cannot enter. There are charms created by the strongest of us.

[ So, the little friend is safe, in other words. ] If any were to get past them... you have seen the kind of power we hold in this building alone. Even... Ser Miscarlet... would fight against those who desire our end.

[ow- although they're not bad, really (and it's his own fault for wearing fingerless gloves). That expression- is that…? No way.]

[ A pause, and then Urianger... smiles. An actual smile. ]

[oh no… so cute… Thancred reaches out to scritch her head a little, smiling. He's had worse!

Urianger taking his goggles off draws his attention away, his hand pausing.]

She will-? [he breathes out, sharp, forgetting everything else.] What- you have? Truly? That's… incredibly good news.

[ She's gonna continue giving little headbutts before more scritches. Come on! ]

As you know, the Echo can protect from it. This is because Hyadalyn protects Her children, a form of tempering which does not alter the mind. [ As far as he knows. ] While we cannot use that force, there are similar powerful forces here - which can enchant crystals and other objects, to weave protection into materials of many sorts. It's... amazing.

Though we still cannot cure one who has been taken... [ Even poor Aymeric-- Halone was still taken by his mind, still being cared for in another world. Would that they could save him. ] ...we can prevent it, though blessing of other Primal. For her, [ he says, giving a little nod to the dragon, ] that is what that scarf is for.

[small dragons: a lot like cats. With a little encouragement, he starts giving scritches again, if a little more slowly while he listens, nodding at Urianger's summation.]

Similar forces? [but still.] It is. Do they need to be on you all the time…?

[he nods, expression dropping.] Well- perhaps there will be an answer, in time. Another- the Primal who's joined us? [he blinks, and smiles.] It's very nice. Suits her quite well, I'd say!

[ thank you she gives a hew happy huffs, landing on him a little, digging her claws into him. ]

Must I give a list? [ he's gonna anyway. ] Other then the two who are embodiment of Hyadalyn and... Zodiark... the Primal of Revolution, the Primal of Rebirth, and the Dreadwyrm all can protect us. No major mutations to their will nor body have been sighted - else we'd not give it to them.

[ A pause. Of course he doesn't like to give names. ]

I suppose the beast who plays with you now - the Father of All Dragons - is also one who can protect us. But I doubt she shall give her blessing to but anybody. [ it's moenbryda she still thinks this is bullshit but cool bullshit. ] That, however, is a theory I'd need to explore...

[yes good he can do with that while his face goes blank for a moment at the first two names. how??]

I hadn't thought- well, I assumed there were fewer. [a nod- that's good to hear, even if he doesn't like to think about what mutations might look like.

small dragon gets a surprised look- but he smiles.] You're rather more adorable than I'd dared to imagine. [things Thancred is going to be embarrassed by eventually] If anyone could see to it, I'm sure it would be you.

[ In fact, there's a little snirk sound from the dragon. Urianger just gives her a Look - come on, he doesn't know.

But he sort of shakes his head. ] The first to arrive was the Primal of Revolution - the twisted fusion of Papalymo and Yda. Begging for help, for they could not find it in their own home.

...It was a chance to learn more, Thancred. One who's a Primal, and desires to find knowledge. And then, more and more arrived...

[…? yeah he just looks puzzled. dragon, what.

He makes something of a face, but nods, looking thoughtful.] It's… considering them, it makes sense… that they would end up embodying that…

It is. I'd hope… anything we could learn that would help, we would. Do you think… they were drawn by each other's presence here…?

...Even so, they've not spoken of the how they were brought together as one. [ Urianger says, a little frustrated. He's been trying to get it out of the Primal, but they seem to dance around it. Just like they were. ]

But we've gained a lot of knowledge on what makes us... us. I've many papers. With my wife. [ With Moenbryda - the dragon lets out another snirk and begins to crawl up Thancreds' arm. Yes, even with wings. Urianger gives a soft frown. ] I think it may be. This building - and their Company Headquaters - seem to lure any from other worlds who end up here. It began slowly... but has sped up.

Most likely… it's an unpleasant subject, then.
