[ It was one of those times where NOAH was still figuring out their way past the Labyrinth of the Ancients, and Nero was still lingering.

Today, though, he had found himself by the side of G'raha, when G'raha was taking a break. Not that Nero had been watching for it, of course not.

With a soft grunt, he flopped down next to him, holding a few of the tomestones that they'd been tasked to decyther. (Nero, honestly, had been asked not to join in this, but. Nero had waited until Rammbroes wasn't paying attention and stolen these ones.) ]

He perks up, tail waving.] I'd like that! Thank you, Cid.

Think I can leave you with him? [ He says, looking to the screen. ] I've got to tell the others it was a false alarm.

[ But Nero begins to hum-purr again, thinking. He's looking for a nice room for G'raha, but... hm, there does seem to be personal quarters. ]

Yeah. It'll be fine, I promise. [he laughs a little awkward.] All right. I apologise for panicking everyone.

[he glances towards the screen, with a curious chirp, wondering- but it can hold for a moment if he needs to.]

[ Nero lets out a chirp, and the lights seem to begin to make a path. ]

I've found a bedroom. There's an elevator this way - but would you mind making a pit stop in the room I'll be lighting up? There's some of those orbs in there, and I want to see if I can hook into it.

[oooh, handy. that makes it easy!]

I can do that. How far is it?

Not too far, around the middle of the hallway. But I won't be able to chat with you while you're going - how very sad.

Haha. Well- that doesn't sound bad! I'll try not to make it too long.

[he doesn't think it would be too long, but… well.

With that, he heads out- looking for that room.]

[ And as he walks, the lights are guiding him, until they get to a room - and seem to light up more.

There's still such a soft beep coming from the tower. The door is open, and there's quite a few de-activated orbs. If G'raha looks around the room, he'll see what looks like a charging station - put an orb on the station! ]

[An even more well-lit room- that's got to be it.

He reaches out to pat the wall- that sound's a lot nicer. It's good the door's open, too! Not that he expected problems, really. And- well, it's got to be said, that does look exactly the right place for one of the orbs, so he'll do just that to see!]

[ After a few moments, though, the orb begins to glow. And out comes a robotic voice - sounding a little like... ]

...It seems it's possible. But... hah. It almost feels like I'm in two places at once, raha.

Hah! [he perks up, tail waving.] That's amazing! I wouldn't have thought… Do you think you can manage it?

I... [ He pauses, gathering himself, before... ] If you think I couldn't manage it, then you don't know who you're talking to!

[ Back to normal, it seems, as the orb... hovers closer to him. ]

[he chuckles.] I'm glad to be sure of it.

[he holds out a hand to the orb.] All right. Time to see what those quarters are like?

[ As the hand is held out, suddenly Nero is right against G'raha, rolling into him softly. There seems to be a slight dulling of the tower... Nero's upset, okay. ]

[ah.] Nero? [he shifts, making a small sound, putting his chin on Nero to cuddle a little.]

...Let's get moving. You could use a nap. [ A beat, though, as he remains in the hold. ] I could use a rest as well...

Coming around to the idea of it? [he grins, holding a little tighter for a moment.] All right. Let's go!

[off he goes- that was the way he came from, so this way…]

[ There's still guiding lights, but they seem less focused, as Nero remains glued to G'raha. ]

...Elevator. This certain one wasn't a teleporter, because it was meant to be easily stopped in case of intruders.

[Well, he trusts Nero can do a good job when with G'raha as well. And he doesn't mean to let go.]

Right. Oh- invaders wouldn't be used to the teleporters, would they? So they'd take that instead, and then… they could be dealt with. Yes?

[ Which is good, because the lights are sort of flickering near the door they need, but Nero seems to be more focused on G'raha. ]

That's right. And the room we're going to? The stairs to it are well hidden. When I was looking at the maps, I couldn't find them.

Hidden… So somewhere very private- for someone important, perhaps?

[he stops near the flickering lights.] Is this the one we want?

It is.

[ The door opens, and once G'raha is in, the door closes. And then he finally answers that question. ] I couldn't quite understand the Allagan - but if it's this guarded, it must be.

Especially this deep into the Tower. [he settles back, attention of the elevator.] Well- I doubt anyone's there now to give us grief over it, but I do wonder…

[ And Nero seems so relaxed, as it moves. Well, as relaxed as the annoying orb can be, slightly rotating. ]

Please. You're royal now, raha. If anything, you should use your position.
