pile of creds
[ Th'ancred had heard of the Make it Rain event, and had decided... well, he'd look cute in some of those clothes. And the bar there was good - and his daugher had gone, as well.
Perhaps he wanted to simply relax. The Scions were at rest - as far as they could be. They were preparing to see what the Source would bring - since it seemed to be a calm similar to periods of large activity.
But, for now, Th'ancred sat at the edge of the airship there, legs danging over. He could have teleported - he'd never been cursed by Flow - but he still wanted to feel the air against him. Sometimes he wondered if death was even a concept here. No, they'd be there soon, and he could gamble his heart away. (Maybe see if Alisaie would come home. She'd been set up there for days.) ]

...shall only be but a moment.
no subject
(Though- didn't one of the others say-?)]
A short one, I hope.
[…good, his eyes are cooperating now, and he's upright. Where are they…?]
no subject
I'd not have it any other way - I'd not heard another had come.
no subject
sorry Urianger.]I believe I arrived at a rather busy time for you.
no subject
[ damnit miscarlet. now he's worrying about k'pan and the others. But Thancred will find he can move around as if he's flying, there's just no gravity on him - as Urianger looks rather uncomfy. ]
no subject
No? That's… well, I'd thought it would be good to meet but not quite… this.
no subject
[ alas. But even as he continues to use his powers, he seems to... well, he's still wound up, but he's no longer having to support Minfilia either. She's been made comfortable, and he approaches Thancred cautiously. He doesn't wanna get hit. ]
But it is a pleasure, Thancred...? [ Does he use that name ]
no subject
Thancred… stays relatively at ease- not totally comfortable, given the aura around him, but he doesn't feel the need to be overly wary. He nods.]
It is. You're- still using Urianger, I take it? It's… strange to think about using anything else, but… [if there's doubles around- well, it's going to be confusing.]
no subject
Softly, Urianger nods. ] That I do - it is the name I was given by those who cared for me. But if you require another moniker to call me, then I suppose you can use Nabriales - for it seems only I held that life. [ He seems to flinch at himself using that name, though, sort of. Wringing his hands. A pause, before: ]
...Would you rather... sit then hover?
no subject
Thancred winces a little as well- he'll pass.] No, I'm sure we'll manage with Urianger. I'm sure we'll find a way to distinguish you when we need to.
[he nods] Not that I mind this, but… It'd be nice.
no subject
...I mean no harm, with what I carry within my heart and body both. I know it may take time to understand.
[ A beat. ]
I... think I am the only Urianger who carries an Eternity Ring gently on his finger.
no subject
It… will take some adjusting, I think. [but he's more relaxed now that he would have been otherwise.
There's a blink, and then he reaches out- going to try and have a look, grinning.]
Really? Congratulations! Who's the lucky person? [there being an obvious contender, of course, but, well.]
no subject
It could be none other then my dear lady, Moenbryda. Even if death parting us is impossible, the vows undertaken are a sign that even one such as I can love.
...But take as long as you need, Thancred. Those who have known of my state for years are still... adjusting. [ This is why he kept it secret, after all. ]
no subject
Of course. [he glances up for a moment- squeezes Urianger's hand, briefly, both to reassure him and see how Urianger's hand feels.] Hah- well, there's few feelings more powerful.
[a nod, and he drops Urianger's hand.]
It's… something to adjust to. You don't seem so different, though.
no subject
[ He's never seen one from another world here. Is that... a point he'll never see? But, at the second bit, his ears twitch. ]
...Truly? I know not of the Urianger of your world, but-- he is Elezen, yes? [ he has to make sure ]
no subject
Well- it's not something many people had the chance to study very closely. [he hesitates, hands dropping. He doens't know- there isn't any way to, he thinks… but.] … I'd like to think- he would be. […urianger was, after all… very precious to him.
He nods.] Right.
no subject
[ A beat. ]
...There are some we have not found in a state stable enough to remain here. Our dear mentor is one of those.
no subject
Ah. [he pauses for a moment- he hadn't thought…]
That's… that's a shame. […gods. he doesn't know- what would he even say if he saw Louisoix again?]
no subject
[ ...He doesn't know what he'd tell him, either. What he'd say. But at the same time, he's seen so many people coming back here - wringing his hands again, he softly looked to Minfilia. ] ...I want to save them all. Many of us do. Even if it brings us to the edge of light and darkness both. [ A pause. ] Perhaps I can make up for my kind.
no subject
[he listens, and nods, glancing at Minfilia. It's not what he would have expected to hear, but… it's good.] I'm glad to hear that- gladder than I'd have imagined. The very edge?
[he raises an eyebrow, thoughtful.] You'd want to do that?
no subject
Preventing the deaths of some may be seen as cruel - those who are seen as evil. But even then, who are we to decide who is to live nor die? ...Though I've not told others of that. [ He admits, after a beat. ]
As the Scions fight for their God, as do the Ascians. The goals are opposed. To them, we are the ones incomprehensible. [ Even to him, he would admit. But he's smiling a little. ] If I can prove that our darkness is not the true threat, even to but a few, I... would be glad.
no subject
I suppose we are- as strange to think as it is. [and… he pauses, before nodding.] It… would be tricky, but I'd imagine you could.
no subject
[ And he'll let that thought linger, as he seems to be relaxing a little - Thancred would also be able to feel that the aura of darkness has faded a little. ] I know Lahabrea harmed us all. And not just him, but other Ascian besides - fighting to bring on chaos comprehensible by different minds then yours.
But... I do still desire Zodiark to awaken. I know that name is unfamiliar, except in ancient tomes.
no subject
[That actually… feels better. Although Lahabrea's not his favourite topic, either.] Hm. A bit of an outlier, then?
Their… that god. Isn't it? [some thoughts transferred, after all, and- he doesn't like it. But better to keep whatever little pieces of knowledge that seem helpful, he supposes…] For the sake of keeping the world from tipping too far?
no subject
[ He'll save them. But then he nods a little, a little embarrassed. That is what Zodiark is, ] yes. Long before the time of Men, He was one with Mother. I do not know what happened. [ He lies, as he moves a little closer. ] But if the scales are tipped to Him - or Her - that is what causes the disasters which have befallen many.
[ oh no you've gotten urianger Talking, as he looks to Minfilia as he talks. ]
If a Land is pure Darkness, it falls to Void. If it is pure Light, nothing can survive, for there is only Light. And if it holds neither... beings live, but lose what it is which makes us live. At least, in theory - beings such as that are thought to be void of emotion and drive both. [ even if he just saw one ]
